Giborah, Gambia
2022

In March 2022, UFFE launched its maiden volunteering project in the community of Jiborah, Gambia. 31 volunteers from all different counties, countries and backgrounds came together with one purpose.

In 10 days, the team of volunteers built 2 new classrooms, installed toilets, running water, a kitchen, re-painted the entire facility, installed a playground and provided children with brand new chairs and desks kindly donated from schools across Ireland.
